Cut to the Chase

Sometimes change can be a lengthy process. Insights may come reasonably quickly but effecting change often slower. Over the years my fascination with the process of change has generated questions about how it can be accelerated. It’s not uncommon to hear of people attending ‘therapy’ for years where the same narrative is re-hashed over and over without any forward movement. Remaining stuck is energy sapping — energy needed elsewhere to create.

Our history has important information for us and is a crucial part of the process in deciding what we don’t want, but we must decide to consciously engage with what we do want and choose something different, or our past stories simply repeat themselves — into a very predictable future. Creating a new story or ‘up-dating’ the old one is when the manifesting of what is wanted really starts to transpire.

The Creative Process

My role in this creative process is to help you understand why you attract the experiences you do and then encourage you to move towards what you do want. What do you desire if where you are is not where you want to be? What do you want to be, do and have? Clarity is everything.

Getting to where we want to be is a step-by-step process. The transitional space will initially feel uncomfortable as we let go of the familiar and experiment with the unfamiliar. We may reside in a place for a while before we’re able to manifest the next space, sometimes it’s just a matter of very small shifts to elevate our mood/energy and to simply keep doing it, over, and over again. Once the momentum gets going and our energy is raised, we can and will experience results.

We must always aspire to how we want to feel and start to feel it now without whatever it is we think will bring us the feeling. If we can find our own happiness without needing someone or something to ‘make us’ so, then the changes come more quickly. Our energetic frequency sends out a signal which is received and always responded to. We live in a vibrational universe. We ‘vibrate’ at different frequencies whether we’re aware of it or not. We’re aiming to find the highest energetic frequency we can each and every day. That’s when things start to ‘line-up’ and become synchronistic.

Inevitably we will ‘fall in a hole’ along the way and go back to familiar habits but with practice we know how to get out and we can choose how long we’re going to be in there. This is a necessary part of the process which we learn to welcome rather than regret or feel frustrated by. Ultimately the aim is to experiment willingly to find out for ourselves what works for us. This is where we take ownership of our own destiny and start to understand the true meaning of empowerment.
